- We clean places you don’t even see, like the tops of refrigerators, ceiling fans and under the beds
- We clean door knobs, phone receivers and light switch plates to help stop the spread of germs
- We use a grout brush to help remove mold, mildew and soap residue in bathrooms
- We clean kitchen and bathroom floors on hands and knees, the surest way to get rid of the dirt, grime and bacteria
- We clean the greasy build up off all accessible kitchen surfaces.
Scheduling: The Maids will schedule regular service for a specific day, and will do our best to accommodate the schedule that fits your needs. Please call in advance if you need to change your regularly scheduled visit. In addition The Maids will also accomodate you for unscheduled “special occasion” cleans, such as before or after a party or special event in your home.
Holidays days: If your regularly scheduled clean falls on a holiday, we will contact you in advance to make arrangements to clean your home on another day that week
Snow days: We follow the Boston Public Schools closings. If BPS close due to a snow storm, we believe for the safety of our employees we should keep our employees off the roads as well. We’ll make arrangements to clean your home on another day that week
Security: We care about your home and want to feel comfortable while we are in it. Our teams are bonded and insured and we run background check and social security verification. In order for The Maids to clean in a timely manner, our cleaning professionals team will need ready access to your home during business hours on your scheduled day. Most of our customers give us a key that we’ll keep in our lockbox in the office and the team leader will only have access on the day of the scheduled service. The team leader will return at the end of the route to the office and key will be put back in the lockbox. If you have a doorman or concierge in the building, leave a key for us and we will return it when finished. Some customers simply leave a key under the doormat, in the mailbox or other hidden places.
Pets: We are happy to work in home with pets, but sometimes pets aren’t comfortable with strangers, so we ask that you secure them as appropriate. OSHA standards also dictate that we do not clean up after their “messes”.
Payment: Payment is due at time of service. We can set up an automatic credit card payment or you can pay by check or cash, leaving it in plain view on the kitchen table or counter before our team arrives. This is our confirmation that you are expecting us.
Supplies: The Maids cleaning team comes to your home fully equipped and ready to work. Our cleaning teams use environmentally preferable cleaning products and Back Pack Vac with HEPA filtration for our Healthy Touch Deep Cleaning System. Our vacuum captures particles down to 1/120th of a human hair.
